The 2024 Phoenix Synthesizer Festival brings together artists Lauren Sarah Hayes, Slender Loris (Keith Kelly, Tony Obr, Brett Reed), Pincushioned, (duo Barry Moon and Doug Nottingham), and Code Zero (Garth Paine and Michael Compitello).
The groups will present their innovative approaches to improvisation, experimental sounds, and multimedia practices using the tools of voice, synths, acoustic instruments, self-built software, and video.
The Phoenix Synthesizer Festival will include a workshop with the artists, a synthesizer "petting zoo", and an evening concert.
