Calumet was formed in Phoenix, AZ by Eric "ET" Mobley and Jason "JJ" Mitchell in 2001. Originally a funk and soul cover band, Calumet began writing it's own material soon after forming. The band was reborn in 2018 with Eric and Jason reunited on their funky quest, featuring Josh Prior, Jeff Pivin, Rich Cross, plus early members Ian "Eon" White and Marvin Scott back in the fold. The band is bringing the Funk to the Valley of the Sun and beyond, with the “It’s What You Do” EP released in July of 2019, a new full album in June of 2020, and frequent new singles throughout 2020.
